Ed Hardy

Ed Hardy has fashion and fragrance down to a “T.” Hardy is an American artist better known for his apparel designs than his work as a tattoo artist. In 2002, the California artist brought in Ku USA to develop a clothing line based on his trendsetting designs. The apparel quickly caught the eye of Saks companies. Within the next couple of years, former Von Dutch Originals designer Christian Audigier purchased the rights to the Ed Hardy line and a clothing movement was born. Audigier cornered the market on tattoo-inspired, rhinestone-adorned t-shirts with the Ed Hardy brand.
